Favorite Song in H.S.? "8675309," "Come on Eileen,"
"Hey Mikki"
Favorite Band and Type of Music in H.S.? The Who,
Duran Duran, Madonna, James Taylor - rock and pop
Favorite Song or style of music now? same. I still
listen to the same stuff - except now it's considered
the "oldies."
Activities involved in at H.S.? some sports and clubs,
but it's hard to recall
Activities involved in now? basically, I'm a working
mom and that's about it. Playgroups and bar
association meetings.
Are you still in touch with any of your friends from
H.S., of so, who? Beth Hewitt Weiss and Kurt Weiss,
Janie Grindstaff Evans. Have seen the Probsts from
time-to-time.
Fondest Memory in H.S. Will have to think harder and
add later. I have lots of good memories.
Worst Memory in H.S. Leaving Broadneck and moving away
the summer after 11th grade.
Did your life shape up 20 years after H.S. where you'd
though you'd be? Not really.
Brief description of what and where you have been
since H.S. After Broadneck, my family moved to
Nashville, TN. I went to college at UVa in
Charlottesville, VA, then headed to London, England
for 5 months or so to live after graduation. Then
moved to Washington, DC, where I worked for a trade
association for about 5 years. I took a brief break
during that time to move to Hartford, CT to be closer
to my then boyfriend, now husband, in the early 90's,
but we came back to DC in '92 or so. Went to law
school full time in 1995 at the University of Maryland
Law School, graduated in 1998, and have been
practicing law (primarily employment law and
commercial litigation) ever since. I got married in
1998 and had a daughter in 2000.
